Au cours des six dernières années, l'Inuit Circumpolar Conference a consacré beaucoup d'énergie au dossier de l'environnement et du développement durable, entre autres par des contributions importantes à des conférences internationales. ICC a également participé activement au groupe de travail des Nations Unies sur les peuples autochtones et suivi de près les discussions sur le gouvernement autonome, particulièrement au Canada.

Abstract:

For the last six years, the Inuit Circumpolar Conference has placed a high priority on environment and sustainable development and made significant contributions at international conferences. ICC has also been active at the United Nations working group on indigenous peoples and followed closely discussions regarding self-government, particularly in Canada.
