Abstract:

In 1991-92 the Canadian political scene has been dominated by yet another initiative to renew the Constitution. The Inuit Tapirisat of Canada has been an active participant in this national debate and fought for the entrenchment in the Constitution of the inherent right to self-government. ITC has also been present on the international level as well as on the home front in the field of human rights.
